The NBC Talent Infusion Programs department seeks fresh, unique, and exceptional behind-the-camera and front-of-camera talent for all NBCUniversal shows. We provide talented creative individuals an opportunity to get their materials in front of key decisions makers from the entire NBCUniversal family as well as agents, managers, producers, and other industry players.
Our efforts are dedicated to diversifying and expanding the landscape of television. We particularly encourage women and people of diverse backgrounds to apply.
NBC Universal continues into the second year with The Diverse Casting Assistant Initiative- a career development opportunity based in Los Angeles.
This is a pipeline designed for and encourages individuals of diverse backgrounds who aspire to work in episodic casting.
Each season, one assistant will be given an opportunity to work in an external independent casting office with a seasoned casting team, who currently oversee an NBC or Universal Television Studio series or pilot. Placements continue for the length of that office's contract- up to 24 consecutive months.
Placement to potentially beginning mid JANUARY 2020.

The Production Office Coordinator Program gives ethnically diverse participants an opportunity to shadow a PRODUCTION OFFICE COORDINATOR on an NBC series. For the 2020-21 season, finalists on a scripted series will be dedicated to one show over the course of the season while participants on unscripted series will rotate through several shows during the same production period. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and should have at least one year of production experience. They should be available to start the program in July.
Program participants will be responsible for their own housing and transportation in Los Angeles.
The Production Office Coordinator Program is one of the tent-pole initiatives within the NBC Talent Infusion Programs (NBC TIPS) that promotes and encourages people of diverse backgrounds.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be able to legally work in the United States
- Have PRODUCTION ASSISTANT experience. Key PA or APOC experience is preferred but not required
- Resume detailing production experience
- Responses to two short essay questions
- One letter of recommendation from an advocate (optional)
